1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out rules for content you submit to FindSkills and behavior on the Service. It supplements our Terms of Service.
2. Submission Rules
- Only submit GitHub repositories you authored or have clear rights to submit.
- The repository must be public. Private repositories are rejected.
- The project must be a genuine AI agent skill, MCP server, tool, or library. No placeholder repos, empty shells, or spam.
- Names, descriptions, tags, and categories must be accurate and not misleading. No SEO keyword stuffing.
- You must respect the original repository's license. Do not re-submit another author's project as your own.
3. Prohibited Content
- Malware, cryptominers, credential stealers, data exfiltration tools disguised as utilities.
- Content that infringes third-party intellectual property, including trademarks and copyrights. See the DMCA policy.
- Content that violates applicable law, including illegal goods, CSAM, or non-consensual content.
- Harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse.
- Deceptive, fraudulent, or impersonating projects.
- Content that primarily exists to promote a competing directory or commercial service without providing genuine agent skill utility.
4. Prohibited Behavior
- Attempting to bypass authentication, authorization, or rate limits.
- Automated account creation or multi-accounting.
- Vote manipulation, artificial inflation of statistics, or any scheme to game ranking.
- Scraping at rates exceeding the published limits, or scraping via multiple IPs to aggregate beyond your limit.
- Any activity designed to interfere with other users, degrade the Service, or compromise its security.
5. Moderation and Enforcement
- We may remove content or suspend accounts at our discretion, with or without notice.
- First-time minor violations typically receive a warning and content removal.
- Serious violations (malware, IP infringement, harassment) result in immediate account ban.
- Repeat violations result in permanent ban.
